1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy outlines how SolworxS collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our IT solutions and services, including the VBIZ mobile application (Package: com.solworxs.vbf).

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information (Name, Email, Phone Number)
Business Information (Business Name, Category, Address, Membership Details)
Contacts — accessed only when you choose to sync or share contacts within the app, for member networking purposes
Photos — accessed only when you choose to upload a profile or business photo (via the System Photo Picker on Android 13+, or legacy storage permission on Android 12 and lower). We do not access or collect your full photo library.
Device and Usage Data (app diagnostics, notification tokens for push notifications)
Location is not collected by VBIZ

3. How We Use Information

To create and manage your member profile and business directory listing
VBIZ does not access SMS messages or call logs. When a user chooses to contact a member, VBIZ may open the device's default phone or messaging application with the member's phone number pre-filled. The user completes the call or message in the external application.

4. App Permissions

VBIZ requests the following permissions, each used only for the stated purpose:

Contacts (READ_CONTACTS, WRITE_CONTACTS) — to help you find and connect with other members already in your contacts, and to save new member contacts to your device only when you choose to do so. This access is used only for member networking and is never used to upload or share your contacts without your consent.
Phone Dialer / SMS App — when you tap the call or message button on a member's profile, VBIZ opens your device's default phone dialer or messaging app with the member's number pre-filled. The app does not directly place calls or send messages; the action is completed only if you confirm it in the external app.
Photos & Storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) — accessed exclusively via the System Photo Picker on Android 13 and above, which requires no permissions. On legacy Android versions (Android 12 and lower), the app uses basic read storage access solely to allow you to select images for your profile or business listings. The app never accesses your full photo library or unselected files.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including encrypted storage and transmission, to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or breaches.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Information may be shared with trusted service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, push notification services) strictly for the purpose of delivering VBIZ's features, under confidentiality obligations.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your membership account is active. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

VBIZ is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

10. Child Safety Standards — Prohibition of CSAE

SolworxS and the VBIZ app strictly prohibit Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We do not allow content, communication, or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or otherwise harms minors, anywhere within our app, services, or platforms.

We comply with all applicable child safety laws and regulations. Users can report any suspected CSAE content or behavior directly to our dedicated Child Safety contact below, and we will investigate and act promptly, including removing content and/or reporting to appropriate authorities as required by law.

11. Cookies
